Grand Caravan
Pratt & Whitney PT6A-114A Turbine Engine | One of the most reliable power plants in the world.

The Cessna 208 Caravan was introduced as a durable workhorse and it has met the challenge with its ruggedness and reliability.

The Cessna Grand Caravan is a modern passenger/cargo aircraft operated on wheels. Safe and reliable, it is very economical to operate, competing favorably with much larger aircraft on a cost per pound/passenger basis. It is normally flown with one pilot, has a cruise speed of 315 kms/h, and a range of about 1,770 kms. With a full load of nine passengers, and 1000 Ibs of baggage and cargo, it can still hold I.F.R. reserve fuel. The Caravan comes equipped with a large cargo door, baggage pod and commuter seats. It has about 3,430 pounds available for fuel, freight, and passengers. Usually 2,800 pounds for passengers and cargo.  The Caravan was built tough for the gravel runways in remote areas.
